After two years of harassment from Bing, I finally Googled “bing challenge” and played along. If you’re not familiar with the “Bing It On” campaign, Microsoft invested billions into creating a rival search engine that still widely unknown, but gaining traction. I’m not writing to weigh in on the merits of the platform (turns out I prefer Google), but rather explore the question – how do you search?
When prompted to make an organic search, what do you put in the search bar? As of the writing of the blog, the trending search is “North Korea Hitler”, which would not be my top choice.
If you do the Bing Challenge, here are some phrases that might get you some interesting results, and teach you a few things:
1. Weight of newborn panda
2. Caturday
3. Zombie Survival
4. Official thumb wrestling rules
5. Vanilla Ice movies
