Account Coordinator

The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting Strategy & Client Services team members in the execution of account work, maintaining exceptional customer service and ensuring best in class internal project management. The Account Coordinator works in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment and serves as an integral link between the Strategy, Web Development and Creative Services divisions. The position reports to the Head of Strategy & Client Services.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support Strategy & Client Services team members in the management and growth of a diverse roster of high-profile clients, accounts, and project-based work
  • Effectively coordinate the internal process of advancing projects from start to finish, while coordinating with team members and providing continuous reports
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans, ideation and tactical recommendations
  • Effectively communicate with clients on digital and creative services strategies, as well as all other client-oriented projects and tasks
  • Proactively gather and analyze data points to develop and present well-informed metrics reports, for both internal and external purposes
  • Manage client-oriented website publishing and maintenance initiatives and tasks
  • Manage client-oriented content development initiatives and tasks
  • Remain on the cutting edge of industry developments and assist in effectively integrating those developments into the business and client work
  • Provide error-free administrative assistance in the development of account documentation, invoicing and other key business matters

 

Basic Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working at the crossroads of digital communications, design, and creative services (video, photography, branding, marketing, etc.)
  • Must be able to work across a number of projects and teams to respond to ever-changing client needs and deadlines
  • Proven research and information synthesizing skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to think creatively and contribute to a team environment
  • Experience with open-source CMS solutions like WordPress and Drupal
  • Proven social media skills in terms of content, engagement and paid promotion
  • Familiarity with the metrics that signify digital effectiveness
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Eagerness to advance professionally

 

For Bonus Points:

  • Adaptable to new technologies
  • Experience with project management programs like Teamwork and Basecamp
  • Familiarity with current affairs and ability to “get smart” quick on various issues
  • A sense of humor and a love of tacos, pandas and the occasional dog
