The NJI Media creative team is using a new infographic format for our clients that some call a “gifographic.”
Gif + Infographic = GIFOGRAPHIC!
We take a regular infographic, and subtly make certain elements move, using a short loop animation. The result? An infographic with stats that actually move to grab the audience’s attention. Check out the two most recent gifographics we’ve animated below.
The Business Roundtable: State of Immigration
BRT wanted to create an infographic around the politically divisive issue of immigration. Their infographic highlights how U.S. policy keeps our country behind others in “The Race for Global Talent.” Check out the facts in our gifographic below, and click for full resolution.
FamousDC: Life on Capitol Hill
Last month, the NJI Media design team created a series of less-serious infographics for FamousDC about life on Capitol Hill. We chronicled the ways that Capitol Hill staff are often plagued by less glamorous tasks as well as those that cater to their own ambitions to create a humorous version schedule of each staffer’s day.
Want your own Gifographic?
If your organization needs to draw attention to the current state of affairs using facts and call out information, a gifographic could be the best choice for you. It’s static, so it can sit on a page or be linked in a document or email; simultaneously, it’s animated, so it creates movement, draws attention and in some cases, tugs at emotion. We’d love to chat with you about it, so send an email to info@njimedia.com.
