The NJI Media team is thrilled to add to our trophy room three more awards, this time, from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA). Our team was awarded two Best In Class awards from IMA, for the Vote Travel and C-SPAN projects, and one Outstanding Achievement award, for the Green Building Certification Institute project.

According to IMA, “The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, your site had to successfully pass through our comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of our judging criteria – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.”

In the Advocacy division, NJI Media won Best in Class for the Vote Travel project.

NJI Media teamed with the U.S. Travel Association to design and build a website to fit seamlessly with the U.S. Travel Association’s “Vote Travel: Get America Moving” campaign. Built as a supporter hub to inform and mobilize Americans who support the travel industry with their votes, the Vote Travel site provides information on how the travel industry creates American jobs and supports our economy. Visitors have the opportunity to take action on the site by directly contacting candidates and policymakers to tell them just how important the travel industry is to them.

And in the Politics division, NJI Media won Best in Class for the C-SPAN Campaign 2012 project.

NJI Media’s design and development teams built an interactive, educational microsite on the 2012 presidential campaign, in a partnership with C-SPAN, America’s television resource for government and political news. The non-profit television network launched this online effort in August 2011 to educate citizens on the 2012 presidential race, key gubernatorial races, and the history of American presidential campaigns.

NJI Media also won an Outstanding Achievement award for the Green Building Certificate Institute (GBCI) Stories project, in the Natural Environment / Green category.

The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) credentials individuals to certify and contribute to green building initiatives. The organization’s goal is to make the way we build and operate buildings as environmentally conscious as possible. NJI Media built a microsite where GBCI shares stories of LEED AP credentialed professionals and their work. NJI Media designed an developed the microsite, and cut and edited each video to the GBCI’s team specifications. In a time where green and sustainable initiatives are a high priority, professionals credentialed through the GBCI are helping to lead the charge for more environmentally friendly building projects.

These three awards can be attributed to the NJI Media team’s hard work and skills, and the dedicated clients with whom we are proud to partner. NJI Media also recently won two awards from the Horizon Interactive Awards, for the C-SPAN Campaign 2012 project and the Energy for America project.
