When purchasing office products or the occasional bamboo stalk for our beloved Panda. I always research deals online before committing to a purchase.
Here are three easy steps on getting the best deal:
1.) Search for Promo Code(s)
If a site offers an option to enter a promotional code, you should always try to search for a code.
The codes could be percentages off or free shipping. Both options are great deals.
The best website with the greatest return on valid coupon codes is RetailMeNot.
2.) Give Them Your Email Address
Most online vendors will have an option to be added to their newsletters. Exchanging your email address for a chance to get a percentage off is well worth it.
You’ll get exclusive deals emailed to you on a scheduled basis. If the emails become excessive, you can always unsubscribe.
The downside to this option is it might not be instant as searching on RetailMeNot.
3.) Join A Rewards Program
Some vendors have a reward/customer loyalty program. Majority of the time its free to join. Major perks of joining a program is the added discounts and other benefits.
For example, Staples Reward Program give you access to free shipping without a minimum purchase and a percentage of your purchase goes into a reward base system.
When you are about to make your online purchase, make sure you try to see if you can get an added discount with my three steps.
A quick search can save you 15% or more on your purchase. Happy Shopping!
