Tea is more than a drink — it can be a centerpiece for connection, collaboration, even spontaneity.
This year, as NJI marks our 15th anniversary with an active exploration of awakening our senses, we have planned purposeful moments for our teams to gather across the world. NJI’s growth, 20 new hires so far this year to increase our capabilities and capacity to develop cutting edge creative ideas from the metaverse and augmented reality to product design and market shaping communication strategies, has brought many new, dynamic individuals to our team. As our agency grows and evolves, one NJI ritual remains the same: a shared love to gather together. Whether over coffee and breakfast tacos; afternoon team resplendent with sweet and savory treats; or a casual pint at the local pub, you’ll find NJI’s pandas (colleagues) raising a glass to each other and sharing a good laugh.
In a world dominated by remote work and virtual interactions, we must purposefully detach from our computers and remind ourselves to converse without agendas.

Building relationships with each other strengthens our abilities as individuals and as a company.”
Across Singapore, London, and Washington, D.C. our teams gathered for three distinct afternoon tea parties to pause and celebrate the wonderful individuals that are NJI. Planned with thoughtful personal touches by members of each office with support from the NJI Experience Team, each afternoon was a delicious reminder that sometimes things really are better after a good cup of tea and a proper snack— cheers to 15 years.
