The National Beer Wholesalers Association represents beer distributors across the country. They wanted a modern, comprehensive and informative new website. Who else would they come to than trusty ol’ NJI Media to build just that for them? NBWA knew that the key to their new website was providing members with valuable news and resources, while highlighting important legislation and spotlighting their impressive employees.
Read on for a few of our favorite features from this redesign.
NBWA.org’s homepage serves as an easy-to-navigate one-stop shop for visitors who want a snapshot of NBWA does for their members and invested community. The carousel includes upcoming events, new industry reports and recent news posts.
This new site is definitely worth checking out on mobile too. The website is beautifully responsive. While it maintains the bold imagery that desktop provides, it’s also easy to navigate and maneuver. See the mobile version of the Membership page here. Visitors can quickly scroll up and down to learn how to become a member, or learn about the various membership benefits.
One of NBWA.org’s most valued features on their new site is their Employee Spotlights page. Each week, the Employee Spotlight features an exceptionally committed beer distribution employee. Visitors can check out past employee spotlights in the View More carousel, and even download their picture and employee information to share on social media.
SINGLE SIGN ON
We’re particularly proud of the newly implemented NBWA Single-Sign On Authorization. NBWA works alongside two providers for their members-only and government affairs information, IMPak and Aristotle. On the old site, members would sign into all three sites (NBWA’s included) to reach their information. With this new Single-Sign On functionality, visitors can seamlessly and unknowingly sign-on to all three sites by using only one set of log in credentials. We look forward to using this same idea on future website builds.
If you like beer and want to learn more about the people who get it to your favorite watering hole, check out the shiny new NBWA.org. And even if you don’t like beer, well, you should still take a digital swig of it. Cheers!
