NJI Media Named Agency of Record by Jolt Cola

ALEXANDRIA, VA Sep. 14, 2017 — NJI Media, an independently owned digital agency, has been named Creative Agency of Record by Jolt Cola. The Alexandria, Va.- based shop will be responsible for creative, strategy, as well as media-planning and buying duties. The pitch was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Imperiale, who founded the firm in 2007.

Fueled by loyal fans demand to “bring Jolt back,” NJI Media has been hard at work helping to get this trailblazing caffeinated cola back on shelves across the country.

“Jolt Cola was well-known in the 80’s and 90’s for provocative advertisements. In that spirit, our team is producing a comprehensive nationwide campaign that resurrects the passionate feelings for the original source of American-made carbonated energy, while also continuing to push new boundaries,” said Nathan Imperiale, CEO of NJI Media.

Jolt Cola joins a roster of clients that includes U. S. Steel, Hilton Worldwide, C-SPAN, Google, WWF and Facebook.

Jolt’s Back Story

Launched in 1985 as America’s first carbonated energy drink Jolt Cola dominated the hearts and minds of gamers, hackers, journalists, and other night owls across the country with its commitment to all the sugar and twice the caffeine in every can. Despite its cult following, some bad business decisions (e.g. battery cans) forced the company to stop production and eventually dismantle the Jolt Cola empire. Now, Jolt CEO Doug Dixon’s vision for Jolt Cola as the phoenix of energy drinks will bring the seriously jacked-up cola back to market in September 2017. Single cans will be available for purchase ($1 each) exclusively at Dollar Generals across the country.
