As the centerpiece of C-SPAN's "next-level" Bus Program and its 25th anniversary tour to all 50 states, NJI created a mobile learning experience to explore US history and government, offer schools a virtual classroom and curate extensive selections from its media archives.
One key objective of the project was engaging younger visitors on the stereotypically dry topic of government. A lively palette, gamification and rapid-response screen actions combine for a UX that parallels apps kids use every day.
NJI's app design was so well received that it ultimately inspired replacement graphics for the bus wrap and interior design.
