NJI, a global creative agency specializing in public affairs, announces the appointment of Megan Yarmuth as Senior Vice President, Public Affairs. Yarmuth brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, international agency leadership, and entrepreneurship. Her arrival marks a significant investment in NJI’s public affairs capabilities, strengthening collaboration between its Washington, D.C., and Doha offices while supporting clients across London, Singapore, and beyond.

“The communications landscape is changing rapidly, and the traditional public affairs playbook isn’t always enough to break through,” said Yarmuth. “What drew me to NJI is the team’s ability to pair strategic thinking with exceptional creative. I’m excited to bring my experience to an agency that’s doing incredible work and to help push what’s possible for our clients.”

Yarmuth joins NJI following an impressive career at Ogilvy, where she most recently served as Head of Public Relations in Qatar. She led a team of more than 40 communications professionals, advising major organizations and senior leaders across the region. Under her leadership, the team earned multiple regional industry awards. Yarmuth was also recognized among the Middle East’s Most Influential PR Professionals in both 2024 and 2025. Her experience on both sides of the Atlantic brings valuable perspective to organizations navigating the intersection of U.S. and Middle Eastern interests.

Earlier in her career, Yarmuth worked at Ogilvy in Washington, D.C., leading large-scale social impact and public health campaigns designed to influence behavior. She also founded Rockhouse, a Washington, D.C.-area video production and digital media company serving corporations, nonprofits, government organizations, and trade associations. Running her own business gave Yarmuth firsthand insight into what it takes to turn communications strategy into compelling content. It also sharpened the entrepreneurial mindset she brings to NJI.

“Megan brings an exceptional combination of strategic expertise, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial drive,” said Josh Shultz, NJI Co-CEO. “We’ve spent nearly two decades building an agency that understands the complexities of public affairs and that knows how to turn strategy into compelling creative work. Megan will help us build on that foundation.”

Yarmuth returns to the United States at a pivotal moment for the communications industry. How people access information is changing; so is who they trust. For organizations seeking to influence public opinion, breaking through requires fresh thinking and a willingness to move beyond traditional approaches. Yarmuth’s appointment strengthens NJI’s ability to meet that challenge.
