NJI today announced the launch of NJI Studio, a creative practice focused on producing authentic, high-impact communications work across brand, film, digital, and live experience. NJI was founded on a simple belief: exceptional creative and powerful storytelling are what make public affairs messaging break through. That belief has only sharpened as AI-generated content floods every channel, making it harder for any single message to land.

NJI Studio is built to help organizations create work that audiences believe, remember, and act on.

As artificial intelligence accelerates the pace and volume of content creation across every industry, NJI sees a growing risk for its clients. Organizations are producing more content than ever while losing the coherence, credibility, and human intent that make it resonate. NJI Studio is designed to address that challenge, using AI to compress timelines and expand capacity while keeping the creative judgment firmly human.

“The tools to create content have never been more powerful or more accessible,” said Josh Shultz, Co-CEO of NJI. “But speed without intention is just noise. NJI Studio sets a higher standard for how we work with clients. Real-time adaptability as insights evolve. Direct access to the people who build the work. One team accountable from first idea through final delivery. This is about raising expectations for what a creative partner should deliver.”

NJI Studio will be co-led by Kara Mask, Global Vice President of Creative Strategy, and Ryan Raybould, Global Vice President of Creative Production, who will lead creative vision, technology integration, and partner collaboration.

This model is designed to remove the gap between idea and execution. Every engagement brings together a multidisciplinary team from the outset, working as a single unit. From strategists to filmmakers to experience designers, the team builds together from day one. Strategy and storytelling develop together. AI accelerates the path from insight to execution, shortening timelines without weakening the thinking behind the work.

“When you bring designers, filmmakers, technologists, and event producers in from the start, you don’t just improve execution,” said Mask. “You elevate the idea itself. That’s what clients need right now: content that moves quickly and still cuts through.”

NJI sees this as a defining moment for the communications industry. The agencies that succeed will not be the ones that adopt AI the fastest. They will be the ones that use it with discipline and protect what makes the work connect.

“Our partners are not asking for more output,” said Raybould. “They are asking for ideas that connect strategy, storytelling, and experience in a way that feels real and drives action. AI changes how fast we can build. NJI Studio makes sure we stay focused on why we are building, and that every piece of work reflects that.”

NJI Studio will support clients across NJI’s global portfolio, delivering an integrated creative approach grounded in collaboration, diverse perspectives, and a clear point of view. In a world where the barrier to creating content is disappearing, the bar for making it matter only rises.
