Our Chief Panda Officer, always near the genesis of an inspired idea (or cocktail), often recalls Marcel Proust’s wit for answering Victorian parlor game questions. Pixel has traveled far from the salons of Paris, but her interest remains piqued in which questions truly reflect a person’s character. Packing just the right amount of punch, NJI created The Pixel Questionnaire to give a glimpse into the inner workings of some of our most intriguing minds.
Pixel recently joined animation maestro and Video Producer, Hank Farr to view his impressive LEGO collection and learn more about the building blocks behind the aficionado.
If you had a superpower?
Velocity-consistent teleportation.

If the waitstaff asks if the food is good and it isn’t.
Your most treasured possession?
My original copy of the 2008 LEGO Power Miners set 8958 Granite Grinder.
What would you do if you got stuck in an elevator?
Stay calm and play games on my phone.
What is your favorite drink?
Cherry Pepsi.
If you could go back in time, where would you go?
The early-mid 2000s (the best LEGO sets were released then).

Garden gnomes — what do you think?
They’re alive and angry and have secret tunnel societies below ground and speak their own little language.
You’ve been given an elephant. What do you do?
Give it directly to the zoo.
What one object do you take with you on a desert island (you have water and food already)?
A sketchbook and pencil.
What was the last gift you got someone?
I built my best friend a custom LEGO model of an American Airlines MD-83!
What is your most unusual talent?
LEGO art.
If you could breed two animals together, what would they be?
Pomeranian + T-Rex.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Peanut Butter and Jelly (raspberry) Sandwich.
What is something you hate but wish you loved?
Very spicy food.
What is something you get wrong every time you try?
Parking in parking lots on the first attempt.

Brad Bird.

Pet tricks.
