Our Chief Panda Officer, always near the genesis of an inspired idea (or cocktail), often recalls Marcel Proust’s wit for answering Victorian parlor game questions. Pixel has traveled far from the salons of Paris, but her interest remains piqued in which questions truly reflect a person’s character. Packing just the right amount of punch, NJI created The Pixel Questionnaire to give a glimpse into the inner workings of some of our most intriguing minds.
Pixel recently joined Global Vice President of Development Claudio Meira to crack the code of NJI’s digital innovation. Fluent in WordPress, HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, and Spanish, Claudio explains complex subjects with ease and respect.
If you had a superpower?
Time Travel. Countless opportunities like experiencing some of the most legendary concerts, gaining insight from the greatest minds throughout history, offering guidance to my younger self, and observing the creation of some of the world’s greatest inventions.
On what occasions do you lie?
When trying to convince myself that I’ll start working out tomorrow.
Your most treasured possession?
Letter from my mom before she passed away.
What would you do if you got stuck in an elevator?
Establish a pee corner.
If not yourself, who would you be?
A pro tennis player.
What is your favorite drink?
Pisco Sour.
If you could go back in time, where would you go?
Back to the early 1990s and build Amazon or maybe Craigslist.
Garden gnomes — what do you think?
I have mixed feelings about them. On one hand, they’re funny and quirky. On the other hand, I always feel like they’re silently judging me for not weeding enough.
You’ve been given an elephant. What do you do?
I’ll ride it to work and impress my coworkers with my unique mode of transportation.
What one object do you take with you on a desert island (you have water and food already)?
My best friend (aka my wife).
What was the last gift you got someone?
Hand warmers.
If you could breed two animals together, what would they be?
I would combine a lion and tiger to make a liger.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Donuts.

Number 13.
What is something you hate but wish you loved?
Olives.
Who would you like to sit next to on a 10 hour flight?
Martin Short, so I can laugh the entire flight and hear hilarious stories about his time on SNL and making movies.
If you joined the circus, what would your circus act be?
I would be the amazing invisible tightrope walker, because who says you have to actually be on the tightrope to impress people?
If you could jump into a pool of something, what would it be?
I would jump into a pool of bubble wrap and pop my way to a state of Zen.
If you could talk to one animal species, which one would it be?
Dogs.
Who inspires you?
My wife.
What’s the greatest length you’ve gone to for a client?
I’ve had calls with clients on the other side of the world at 3 a.m. to help brainstorm or to debug an issue that they had.
