Branding a Speakeasy

In October, NJI celebrated the move into our new office space by transforming the warehouse into The Speakeasy at NJI Media.  From the first mention of the idea, the designerds at NJI began brainstorming ways to flex our creative muscles for the event.

From the start, we chose to avoid the typical early 20th-century design cues you might find at such a period-themed party, opting instead for something classic and understated, accented by the subtle use of period ornamentation.

We had a blast designing all kinds of assets including a logo, gold foil letterpressed invitations, an RSVP microsite and various signage for the event.  Check out some of what we dreamed up below:
